Highlights Tour (2 hours)

Some highlights of the tour are Arsenale, Certosa, La Vignole, St Andrea, Lido and St Marco Basin

This is our shortest tour and will showcase the highlights that are close to the main part of the ancient city.

Meeting Point, Ospedale, Fondamente Nove - 267 Fondamente Nove, Venezia, Veneto, Italy

On this tour we will start on the north side of the city and in a half circular path go around the ancient part of the city of Venice.

You will be able to see:
- The Arsenale, the ship building factory for the Venetian Republic
- The Island Napoleons Troops where stationed on
- A Island that the Romans already made wein on
- A Fortress that protected the City
- St Marco Basin with all the sights there like the Doge Palace, Bridge of Sighs, St Georgie and the entrance to the Grand Canal.

This Itinerary is great for those with lots on there schedule but still would like to experience Venice in a way most Visitors don't.

The Pick-Up point will be very close to the Ospedale Vapporetto (Waterbus) stop. If you are looking out to the water then we will dock to the right of the Vapporetto Pier.

Drop-Off point will be the same as the Pick-Up spot

Depending on the time of the year wear appropriate clothing. The boat is an open vessel without a cabin so you are in the open.
During colder days we suggest a warm and windproof jacket, and during the hotter days a hat and sun screen lotion to protect from the hot sun.
While out on the water the temperature will normally feel a little cooler.
We do have a Sun Shade during the summer months and blankets for the colder days on board.

We have a cooler on board with water, other beverages and also a selection of snacks.

Any entry fees, gratuities and meals are not included.

Because of local regulations, we as a tour operator, are not allowed on the canals inside the the city of Venice. Stella, a traditional venice sailing vessel, wouldn't be able to fit inside the city canals because with the sailing masts we don't fit under the bridges.

Arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.

Please be aware that this is a traditional fishing boat and is not a modern vessel with all kinds of amenities.
This means that there are no bathroom facilities on board and getting on and off the boat might require the guests to make bigger steps up or down depending on the water levels at the time and also there might be a gap between the shore and boat to step over. We will aleays do our best to make it as easy as possible for everyone.
